Elkin Alfred

Elkin Alfred serves as the Senior Vice President of Belonging at the Denver Zoological Foundation since October 2021, previously holding the position of Director of Equity & Culture. Prior to this role, Elkin was with the United Way of Broward County from October 2014 to October 2021, where Elkin contributed as the Director of Health Initiatives and DEI Champion, as well as Training Manager and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion. Responsibilities included creating solutions to enhance diversity and inclusion, coordinating round table meetings, and facilitating the Youth Leadership Institute for adolescents. Elkin holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and is currently pursuing a Professional Certification in DEI in the Workplace from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
