Katie Parkins is a skilled Digital Producer currently employed at Denver7 (KMGH-TV) since May 2022, where responsibilities include promoting news content on social media and producing Thanksgiving specials for streaming. Previous experience includes producing Emmy-nominated newscasts and hour-long morning broadcasts at Action News 5 and KOMU 8, as well as an internship at CBS News, where research and content creation were pivotal. Additional roles include editorial contributions for Investigative Reporters and Editors, freelance reporting in the Denver Metro Area, and community outreach at Columbia Missourian, showcasing a strong background in journalism and production. Katie holds a Master of Arts in Journalism, with an emphasis on Investigative & Data Reporting and Television Producing, from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
