Ioannis Moraitis

Ioannis Moraitis is an experienced professional in the energy and communications sectors, currently serving as Project Manager for Hydrogen and Head of ESG at DEPA Commercial S.A. since November 2019, and as Strategy Director at Hydrogen Europe since October 2021. Previously, Moraitis founded Hydrogen Greece and worked as an Energy Project Manager and Communications Specialist from May 2018 to November 2019. Additional roles include Communications and Policy Manager at Hydrogen Europe from January 2016 to January 2019, Project Manager/Consultant at the German Hellenic Business Association, and project development at Pantarhei Projects. Moraitis has also served as a Personal Advisor and Head of Office for the Ambassador-at-Large in Brussels and as a consultant for the European Parliament. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree from Maastricht University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Panteion University, along with a high school diploma from the German School Athens.
