Konstantinos Xifaras serves as the Chief Executive Officer at DEPA S.A. since September 2019 and holds the role of Secretary of the Greek National Committee for the World Energy Council until September 2024. From 2017 to July 2024, Xifaras was also Vice President and Alternate General Secretary at the Technical Chamber of Greece. Xifaras previously worked as a Research Associate at the National Technical University of Athens until December 2019 and has extensive consulting experience, including as a Business Consultant for Energy & Infrastructure investments and as an Energy Consultant at PwC Greece in 2018. Notably, Xifaras was the Chief Executive Officer at DESFA SA from 2013 to 2016, overseeing significant investments in energy infrastructure, including the construction of a third LNG tank. Earlier roles include serving as Head of the Deputy Minister’s Cabinet at the Ministry of Development, Competitiveness, Infrastructure, Transport & Networks, and as a Special Advisor at the Ministry of Environment, Energy & Climate Change. Xifaras holds a degree in Production Engineering & Management from the Technical University of Crete.
