Ameena Khan

Ameena Khan is a Senior Policy Advisor at the Department for Work and Pensions since October 2023 and a Generalist Fast Streamer with the Civil Service Fast Stream since October 2021. Previous roles include serving as a Policy Advisor at Kivu International, where support was provided to Zambia State House on public policy related to youth unemployment, tourism, aviation, and immigration, as well as briefing Malawi State House on political issues. During tenure at the UK Home Office from October 2022 to March 2023, leadership was demonstrated in developing the UK Anti-Corruption Strategy, fostering cross-government collaboration. Ameena also worked as an Operations and Implementation Manager at the Ministry of Justice UK and held various internships in marketing, political communications, and legal settings. Ameena holds a BA in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick.
