Daniel Templeton

Daniel Templeton currently serves as Private Secretary to the Secretary of State at the Department for Work and Pensions since December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Strategy Advisor at the Ministry of Justice UK from September 2021 to December 2023, and as Private Secretary to both the Minister for Apprenticeships and Skills and the Permanent Secretary at the Department for Education from May 2020 to September 2021. Daniel began their legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at Linklaters, where work focused on Financial Regulation, Environment and Climate Change, Dispute Resolution, and Banking Restructuring and Insolvency from March 2018 to March 2020. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Law with French Law from the University of Oxford, completion of the LPC at BPP Law School, and a Certificat Supérieur de Droit Français et Européen from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
