Chantal A. Porte

Chantal A. Porte, M.Ed., serves as the Regional Safety Program Manager at the Florida Department of Children and Families since November 2018, bringing extensive experience in child development and family services. Previous roles include Child Development Specialist at MidFlorida Community Services Inc., and Statewide Coordinator for Youth Success at Community Care Alliance, where responsibilities involved developing home visiting approaches for pregnant and parenting adolescents. Additional positions held include Child Care Director/Head Teacher at Genesis Child Care Development Center, Early Head Start Supervisor at Lutheran Services Florida, and various leadership roles within child care and education settings. Chantal holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood/Administration & Leadership from Johnson & Wales University and a Bachelor’s in Human Development Family Studies/Psychology from the University of Rhode Island.
