Richard Cavallaro

Richard Cavallaro is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and public service. Currently serving as the Adult Protective Services Operations Program Administrator for the Florida Department of Children and Families since March 2015, Richard has a track record of coordinating professional development statewide, managing performance metrics, and implementing quality improvement programs. Previous roles include Adult Protective Services Program Administrator and Supervisor, where responsibilities included training staff and ensuring compliance with service standards. Prior to this, Richard served as a Senior Police Officer with the Eustis Police Department and as Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army, emphasizing leadership and training. Richard holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Central Florida and additional degrees in management and psychology.
