Shelita Johnson

Shelita Johnson currently serves as a CIL Staff Management Specialist for the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) since January 2023, after a distinguished career in education and military service. With experience as a licensed Elementary School Teacher and Reading Specialist, Shelita has dedicated time to tutoring and coaching students. Previous roles include Substitute Teacher across multiple school districts, such as Arlington Public Schools and Alexandria City Public School, along with a position at Huntington Learning Center. In military service, Shelita achieved the rank of Master Sergeant in the US Army, proficient in human capital principles. Shelita holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Development from Hawaii Pacific University.
