Dr. Ashraf Mahate Frsa

Dr. Ashraf Mahate FRSA currently serves as the Chief Economist for Trade and Economic Development at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, a position held since June 2008. With a solid academic foundation, Dr. Mahate is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and has garnered extensive experience in higher education as Assistant Dean and Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Wollongong in Dubai, as well as in various lecturer and management roles across other institutions including the University of Dubai and the University of Greenwich. Dr. Mahate holds a PhD in Economics and Finance from City St George's, University of London, complemented by advanced diplomas in higher education, and memberships in notable professional organizations in management and commercial management.
