Alain Pascua

Alain Pascua is an experienced professional currently serving as Undersecretary, Deputy Secretary, and Deputy Minister at the Department of Education in the Philippines since July 2016. Alongside this role, Alain has been a book author for Haring Ibon: The Great Philippine Eagle since April 2016 and owns Alain Del Photography, specializing in creating artful representations of Philippine birds. Alain has held various leadership positions, including President of KAAKBAY Partylist and Vice President of both the Wild Bird Club of the Philippines and Wild Bird and Nature Photography Philippines. Previous roles include Adviser for the National Muaythai and Kickboxing Council of the Philippines and Team Manager for the World Muaythai Federation Philippines. Alain also has substantial experience in community development through the KAAKBAY Citizens Development Initiatives, Inc. and served as Secretary-General for the Social Watch Global Assembly 2011 Philippine Secretariat. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Adamson University.
