Emma Jones

Emma Jones is an experienced media professional with a robust background in communications spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Media Manager at the Department of Health (WA Health) since August 2021, Emma has also held the roles of Acting Media Manager and Senior Media Coordinator within the same department. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at the Department of Education (WA) as Principal Consultant to the Deputy Director General of Schools, along with various senior media positions at Fire and Emergency Services Authority (WA) and other government agencies in Western Australia. Emma began a career in media and communications at Family and Children's Services (WA) and has contributed to the BBC as an Assistant Content Producer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Communications with a focus on Media Studies and Writing from Edith Cowan University, complemented by a student exchange at The University of British Columbia.
