Deidre Brooks is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in the petroleum and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Energy Geoscience at the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety in Western Australia since 2016, Deidre has previously held key roles including Chief Geoscientist at Origin Energy, where responsibilities included formulating geoscience budgets and leading geological assurance peer reviews. Other notable positions include Director and Petroleum Geology Consultant at DMB Earth Pty Ltd, Senior Petroleum Geologist and Team Leader at Woodside Energy, and Senior Exploration Geologist at BHP Petroleum.
