Lisa Symons is an experienced human resources professional with a diverse background in recruitment, employee relations, and learning and development. Currently serving as the Manager of Recruitment and Engagement at the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety in Western Australia since July 2018, Lisa leads a team to provide essential HR services. Previous roles include Acting Manager HR Services and Senior Human Resources Consultant at the Department of Mines and Petroleum, where significant contributions were made to the coordination of graduate and traineeship programs. Additional experience includes roles at Implicor Human Resources, Zurich Financial Services, and GIO, where skills in administration support, client relations, and claims management were developed. Lisa holds dual degrees in Commerce and Psychological Studies from The University of Western Australia.
