Amanda McAlpin

Amanda McAlpin currently serves as the Batteries and Critical Materials Recycling Supply Chain Deployment Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Amanda worked at Argonne National Laboratory for a decade, holding positions as Technology Integration Project Manager and Project Specialist, where the focus included workforce development and environmental sustainability in port developments. Amanda coordinated the Clean Cities University Workforce Development Program, fostering connections between Clean Cities coalitions and students aimed at reducing petroleum use in transportation. Previous experience also includes roles at New West Technologies, LLC, as Vehicle Technologies Task Lead, and as an Energy Analyst for Sentech, Inc. Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Mississippi State University.
