Amie Dutta Robinson

Amie Dutta Robinson is an experienced Environmental Protection Specialist and Acting Office Director at the U.S. Department of Energy since January 2023. Prior to this role, Amie worked at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality from June 2005 to January 2023, serving as a Legislative Analyst and lead Legal Analyst on the TCEQ Legislative Team. Amie also held positions as an Attorney Advisor and Legal Associate at BIG Law Firm from December 1999 to May 2005 and worked as an Attorney at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from June 1996 to November 1999. Amie holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History from Cornell University, along with a High School Diploma from The Hockaday School. Amie briefly attended Columbia University in 1987-1988.
