Ernesto Rivera-Umpierre

Ernesto Rivera-Umpierre, Esq. serves as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Puerto Rico Grid Recovery and Modernization Team at the U.S. Department of Energy. Previously, Rivera-Umpierre held roles as Director of Legal Affairs and Senior Policy Advisor to the Office of the Governor of Puerto Rico at the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration, as well as P3 Manager and Special Aide at the Puerto Rico Public Private Partnerships Authority. Rivera-Umpierre has experience as a Tax Analyst at EY and as Legal Counsel at Rivera-Otero Law. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northeastern University and ongoing studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico.
