Greg Doan

Greg Doan has extensive experience in IT and management roles. Greg has worked for various organizations, including the U.S. Department of Energy, Energy Enterprise Solutions, RSIS, ACS Government Solutions Group, Mindsurf Networks, WorldCom, High Technology Solutions Inc., Vitro Corporation, and the U.S. Navy.

At the U.S. Department of Energy, Greg served in various leadership positions, including Associate Deputy CIO for Enterprise Operations and Shared Services, Director of Infrastructure Operations, Director of Service Operations Office, and Director of Infrastructure Management Division. In these roles, they managed nationwide IT infrastructure services, including networking, cyber security, messaging, desktop computing, servers, and data center operations.

Prior to their work at the U.S. Department of Energy, Greg was Vice President of Enterprise IT Operations at Energy Enterprise Solutions. Greg also held management positions at RSIS, ACS Government Solutions Group, and Mindsurf Networks, where they oversaw customer support, help desk operations, and IT support services.

Earlier in their career, Greg worked as a project manager for WorldCom, managing the E-Commerce Ordering and Management system. Greg also served as a program manager at High Technology Solutions Inc., providing service desk operations for the U.S. Navy's Naval Sea Systems Command.

Before transitioning into the IT field, Greg started their career in the U.S. Navy as a Firecontrolman.

Greg Doan attended Montgomery College from 1990 to 1992, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended St. Petersburg College from 1981 to 1982, where they pursued General studies. Greg completed their high school education at Clearwater High School from 1976 to 1980, earning a HS Diploma in General Studies. Apart from their formal education, Greg obtained a certification in "Forrester Adopting Zero Trust" from Forrester in 2023.
