Natalia Saraeva has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Natalia currently works at the U.S. Department of Energy as a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Lead. Prior to this, they served as a Team Lead, Consent-Based Siting at the same department. Natalia has also worked as an Advisor at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and as the Execution Strategy Analysis Lead and Risk Manager at the Argonne National Laboratory. Natalia has experience as a Fellow at the US Nuclear Infrastructure Council and as the Staff Director of the Disposal Subcommittee at the Blue Ribbon Commission on America's Nuclear Future. Natalia has also worked at The Brookings Institution, the U.S.-Russia Business Council, the Russian Research Center Kurchatov Institute, and the Center for Nonproliferation Studies.
Natalia Saraeva holds a Master of Science degree in Foreign Service (MSFS) with a focus on International Relations and Affairs from Georgetown University, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Master's in nuclear security and nonproliferation from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) from 2003 to 2005. Natalia also holds a Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering from the same university, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Natalia Saraeva earned a Master's degree in economics from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI from 2002 to 2005.
