Russell Roth

Russell Roth serves as the DOE Office Director and Attaché/Senior Energy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy, a position held since August 2007. Roth has extensive experience in energy security and nuclear nonproliferation, having enhanced efforts in Ukraine's energy sector and provided strategic guidance to military and international partners as a Senior Advisor. Previous roles include leadership positions at the National Nuclear Security Administration and advising the Deputy Secretary on international affairs. Roth holds a Master's degree in Defense and Strategic Studies from Missouri State University and has also contributed as an adjunct professor, teaching energy and national security topics.
