Susan Wong

Susan Wong is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and planning within various federal agencies. Currently serving as the Principal Deputy Associate Administrator at the U.S. Department of Energy since June 2024, Susan has previously held the position of Division Chief at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, where the focus was on developing integrated facilities programs. Susan's tenure at the National Park Service as Chief of the Division of Professional Services included overseeing projects linked to significant historical sites. As the Capital Projects Administrator for the Architect of the Capitol, Susan led the Cannon Renewal project, enhancing the functionality and security of a historic building. Earlier roles include Project Manager in the US Army and positions with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
