Josh Solomonsz

Josh Solomonsz is a seasoned professional specializing in climate action and environmental policy. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, Josh contributes to the emissions analysis team and supports the development of Victoria’s Climate Change Strategy. Previous roles include Policy Coordinator at Climateworks Centre, where the focus was on influencing Australian public policy regarding climate action, and Engagement Coordinator for Cities, addressing transportation and housing emissions. Experience also includes a Planning and Environment Graduate role at the Level Crossing Removal Project and various communications and marketing positions in environmental organizations. Josh holds a Master's degree in Environment & Sustainability from Monash University and a Bachelor's degree in Politics & International Studies from the University of Melbourne.
