Kate Biles

Kate Biles is a professional with extensive experience in environmental planning and project management. Currently serving as a Natural Environment Program Officer at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action since September 2019, Kate has also held positions such as Bushfire Recovery Team Leader and Land and Built Environment Program Officer at East Gippsland Shire Council. Prior roles include Project Officer at the Port of Melbourne Corporation, Senior Project Officer at the Department of Planning and Community Development, and several research-focused positions at the OECD and Australian Embassy in France. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Urban Planning and Design and a Graduate Diploma in Urban Planning and Design from the University of Melbourne, as well as V.C.E from Lauriston Girls' School in Melbourne.
