Iana Cabarle

Iana Cabarle currently serves as an Account Officer in the Legal Affairs Office at the Department of Finance, a position held since June 2019. Responsibilities include relaying directives from the Finance Secretary, supervising government-owned corporations in the energy sector, and liaising with intergovernmental bodies related to the Bangsamoro Peace Process. Previous roles at the Department of Finance encompass responsibilities in Policy Development and Management Services, the Office of the President, and as an Assistant to the Head of Communications. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, complemented by studies in Writing and Editing at the University of Michigan and courses in Improving Communication Skills at the University of Pennsylvania. Iana has also gained experience through internships at Avanguard Creatives and DZME.
