Dr. Shadi Zraiqat

Dr. Shadi Zraiqat serves as a Digital Strategy & Governance Advisor at the Department of Government Enablement since 2017, focusing on the development and maintenance of the government-wide digital strategy and ensuring alignment of ICT vertical strategies with broader objectives. Previously, Dr. Zraiqat worked as an IT Advisor for UAE ICP from 2009 to 2017, where responsibilities included developing IT strategy and supporting national projects like the National ID Card Initiative. Prior roles include Projects Manager and IT Security Assistant at Abu Dhabi Police (2002-2009), and Project Manager and Senior Software Developer at Omnix International (1997-2002). Dr. Zraiqat holds a PhD in Computing and Engineering from The University of Huddersfield, along with several master's degrees and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from University of Jordan.
