Mahendra Basam

Mahendra Basam has a strong background in data architecture and engineering. Mahendra is currently working at the Department of Government Enablement as a Sr Data Architect & Engineering Lead since October 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Data Architect & Engineering expert at the same company from September 2022. Before joining the Department of Government Enablement, Mahendra worked as a Lead Data Engineer at Etihad Airways from March 2020 to November 2022. Mahendra also worked as a Data Engineer at HCL Technologies (DBS Bank) from November 2018 to February 2020. Mahendra's career started at Cognizant, where they served as an Associate projects from November 2013 to November 2018. Mahendra began their professional journey as a Software Developer at DELISIS INFORMATICS PRIVATE LIMITED, where they worked from July 2012 to October 2013.

Mahendra Basam holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Osmania University, which they completed in 2012. Mahendra also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sri Venkateswara University, specializing in Mathematics and Statistics computers, which they completed in 2009. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Data Management Professional from DAMA International and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, both in 2022. In 2020, they became a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc.
