Melissa Carter

Melissa Carter is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community health and social work. Currently serving as a Senior Community Health Social Worker at the Department of Health, Tasmania since June 2021, Melissa has previously worked as a Child Safety Officer at the Department of Communities and as a Social Worker with the Tasmanian Health Service. Additionally, experience as a Community Worker at Cornerstone involved designing and facilitating a cultural identity program for high school students. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from the University of Tasmania, a Certificate in Narrative Therapy from Dulwich Centre, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Aboriginal Studies from the University of Tasmania.
