Ruth King

Ruth King is an experienced nursing and midwifery professional currently serving as the Nursing/Midwifery Director of Women's and Children's Services at the Department of Health in Tasmania since June 2022. Ruth has held various roles including Senior Midwifery Advisor for the NWIMS Transition Project and Midwifery Tour Leader at Jon Baines Tours Ltd, focusing on integrating travel with midwifery education. Additional experience includes positions as a Midwife at Women's and Children's Hospital and as a Senior Project Officer at ACT Health.
