Bridie O'Donnell

Bridie O'Donnell is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Executive Director of the Public Health Network and Programs at the Victorian Department of Health since February 2024. O'Donnell is also a Tour de France commentator for SBS Australia since July 2020. Previous roles include Chief of Strategy and Delivery Coordination and Executive Director of Strategy & Coordination at Victoria 2026, Executive Director at the Victorian Department of Health, and Executive Director of the Public Events Team at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, which focused on safely restarting public events during the COVID-19 pandemic. O'Donnell has contributed to media as a medical expert and sports commentator, with a background in medicine, holding an MBBS from The University of Queensland and a Master of Public Administration from ANZSOG. Additionally, O'Donnell has undergone executive education at Harvard Business School.
