Claire Pollitt

Claire Pollitt has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Claire is currently working at the Victorian Department of Health as a Principal Planning Officer, focusing on Digital Health Strategy. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal Project Officer for the Robot-Assisted Surgery project, where they played a key role in the procurement and establishment of the service. Claire also worked on developing the first robot-assisted surgery training program endorsed by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Before joining the Victorian Department of Health, Claire worked as a Principal Project Officer for the quality and continuous improvement department of the Victorian Department of Health's COVID-19 Response team. Claire also served as a Board Director at Doncare, providing their strategic guidance and expertise.

In the past, Claire has held roles at Safer Care Victoria, where they delivered projects focused on clinical governance education and support. Claire has also worked at the Department of Health & Human Services in Victoria as a Health Service Lead and a Project Officer. Prior to that, Claire obtained a Bachelor of Midwifery from Australian Catholic University in 2013. In 2001, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts (Humanities) from Murdoch University.
