Lauren Cook

Lauren Cook currently serves as the Manager of Policy, Projects and Engagement at the Victorian Department of Health, where leadership involves coordinating the development and improvement of critical health system policies. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Policy Advisor for Mental Health Reform at Victoria Police, providing advice related to the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System, and Senior Research Officer at the Scrutiny of Acts and Regulations Committee in the Parliament of Victoria. Lauren has also contributed as a Researcher for the Parliamentary Library and as a Government Lawyer at the Department of Human Services. Education credentials include a Master of Public Health from UNSW and a Master's Degree in Health and Medical Law from the University of Melbourne, among other qualifications.
