Michelle Swann

Michelle Swann is an experienced professional in the mental health sector, currently serving as the Acting Director and Principal Adviser for Lived Experience (Carer) within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division of the Victorian Department of Health since July 2021. Previously, Michelle held positions such as Senior Lived Experience Adviser at Mental Health Reform Victoria and Senior Carer Adviser with the Office of the Chief Mental Health Nurse at the Victorian Department of Health. Additional roles include Chair and Board Member at Tandem Carers, Women’s Mental Health Consultant at Northern Area Mental Health Service, and various advisory and advocacy positions in organizations focused on mental health and carer support. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons) from La Trobe University and an Associate Diploma of Business in Legal Practice from RMIT University.
