Philip Clift

Philip Clift is an experienced professional in public health policy, currently serving as Principal Policy Officer in the Priority Policy Design and Coordination team at the Victorian Department of Health since October 2016. In this role, Philip leads the scoping and assessment of incoming requests for priority projects and reforms, ensuring effective delivery for the Community and Public Health division. Previously, Philip held several key positions at the Victorian Department of Health, including Business Manager Health Protection and Principal Adviser, where responsibilities involved coordinating corporate requests, financial management, and developing policies for incident response related to communicable diseases. Philip's extensive background in public health policy is further supported by roles at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, and the Department of Health & Human Services, along with a solid educational foundation in public sector management and health education.
