Phuong Pham

Phuong Pham is an accomplished leader in health reform and strategic planning, currently serving as Executive Director at the Victorian Department of Health since June 2019, with roles including Deputy Secretary for COVID-19 Response and Executive Director of Pathology & Reform. Phuong's extensive experience includes positions as Board Director at HealthShare Victoria and Western Health, as well as key strategic roles at Telstra Health, where contributions spanned from Head of Strategy and Policy to General Manager of Strategic Bids. Phuong has a solid foundation in public health policy, having held positions at the Department of Health and Ageing and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. An academic background includes a Ph.D. in Modern History from the University of Oxford, alongside a Master of Arts and dual Bachelor's degrees from the University of Melbourne in History and Computer Science.
