Ray Baird has extensive experience in applications development and support, currently serving as the Director of Applications Development & Support at the Department of Human Services since March 2010. In addition, Ray holds the position of Assistant Director of System Solutions at the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria since 2018. Prior roles include CIO at the Office of Housing, Manager of the Systems Branch at the Department of Planning & Development, Senior Manager of Retail Systems Integration at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and various positions at State Bank Victoria and Westpac Banking Corporation. Ray started his career as a Trainee Systems Analyst at the Commercial Bank of Australia. Ray holds a Bachelor of Business Information Systems degree from Charles Sturt University.
