Starting with the Chief Information Officer and Chief of Homeland Security & Emergency Management at City of Detroit, the team has worked in various levels of government, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, where the team coordinated preparedness efforts for disasters. After Hurricane Katrina, the team became involved in community stabilization and development, working with organizations such as the National Community Stabilization Trust and Enterprise Community Partners.
