David Finney

David Finney is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in network architecture, project management, and IT governance. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of ICT Contract Services at the Department of Justice since May 2022, David previously held roles at the Department of Finance, including ITSM Capacity Manager and Project Manager for the GCN Decommissioning project. Prior experience also includes work as an Enterprise Network Architect with the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, where David developed the architecture for the GovNet network, and as a Senior Project Manager for Building Management and Works, overseeing the integration of government agencies onto the Government Building Campus Network. David's earlier career at the Department for Child Protection involved managing information planning and business systems consulting, supported by a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
