Michael Whittaker

Michael Whittaker has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael began their career at NHS England, where they served as the Head of ICT & Technical Development for over 12 years. Michael then joined Kinetic IT, where they held various leadership roles, including Service Operations Manager, Architecture Services Manager, and Service Director. During their time at Kinetic IT, they played a crucial role in driving business growth, managing high-performing teams, and establishing the company as a trusted advisor. In 2019, Michael joined the Department of Finance as the Service Management Director, before transitioning to the Department of Justice in 2021, where they currently hold the position of ICT Service Delivery Director. In 2022, they briefly served as the Chief Technology Officer at the Department of Justice.

Michael Whittaker obtained a BA (Hons) Joint Degree in German & Business Studies from the University of Hull in 1996. In 2012, they completed an MBA (Master of Business Administration) at The University of Bolton. Michael also holds several certifications, including TOGAF 9 Certified from The Open Group in 2014 and ITIL V3 2011 Expert Certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2012. Additionally, they obtained a Prince2 Registered Practitioner certification from APM Group in 2009.
