Kris McCracken

Kris McCracken is an experienced policy professional currently serving as the Assistant Director in the Policy and Intergovernmental Branch of the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Tasmania, a role held since May 2019. Throughout a lengthy career in various governmental and non-governmental organizations, Kris has consistently provided high-quality, evidence-based policy advice, particularly in areas related to health, justice, social policy, and economic development. Notable previous positions include Acting Director in the Policy and Reform Division of DPAC, Senior Policy Officer at the Department of State Growth, and Workforce Development Officer at the Mental Health Council of Tasmania.
