Prendergast Steph

Prendergast Steph has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as an Agriculture Teacher at Burnie High School under the Revitalising School Farms Initiative since February 2019. Additionally, Prendergast has held multiple roles with the Department of Education Tasmania since 2011, including My Education Coordinator and Team Teacher for the Trainee and Apprenticeship Pathway Program, focusing on Maths, Science, Employability Skills, and Work Placement Coordination. As a Teacher/Trainer with the Department of Premier and Cabinet since February 2002, Prendergast has contributed significantly to various educational initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Education, Bachelor's degrees in Applied Science and Sociology/Anthropology from the University of New England and The Australian National University, respectively. Prendergast's academic journey began at North Sydney Girls' High School.
