Jon Michael Semilla

Jon Michael Semilla currently serves as the OIC Head of the R&D and Innovation Unit at the Department of Science and Technology, where responsibilities include acting as the secretariat for the Fairness Opinion Board and the Regional Research, Development, and Innovation Committee - X. Previously, Jon Michael held various roles in the research field, starting as a Project Assistant I and advancing to Project Technical Specialist I and Science Research Specialist II. Early career experiences include training positions at Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. and Mabuhay Vinyl Corp, as well as involvement in the DMFI - XU ChE Pineapple Juice Project during academic studies. Jon Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan in 2020.
