Melvin P. Jusi

Melvin P. Jusi, ChE RSci AMIChemE, currently serves as Project Development Officer IV and Head of the S&T Foundation Unit at the Department of Science and Technology since February 2023. Previously held the position of Project Senior Technical Specialist and Program Manager at the same department from January 2018 to February 2023, focusing on technical and administrative support for the Science for Change Program. Prior roles included Science Research Specialist II at the Food and Nutrition Research Institute, where responsibilities included leading projects on food and nutrition enterprises, and as a Chemical Engineer and Safety Officer at the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Melvin's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, a Graduate Diploma in Research and Development Management, and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Mapúa University.
