Rachelle Anne Miranda

Rachelle Anne Miranda is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project development and disaster management. Currently serving as a Project Development Officer at the Department of Science and Technology since September 2021, Rachelle has previously contributed to the Armed Forces of the Philippines SOLCOM Multi Sector Advisory Board as a Youth Sector Representative from July 2013 to September 2023. Rachelle's roles at the Office of Civil Defense encompass Deputy Spokesperson, Officer in Charge of the Information, Training, and Advocacy Division, and Information Officer, focusing on disaster risk reduction and management in the Bicol region. Additionally, Rachelle volunteered as a teacher for out-of-school youth through the Alternative Learning System. Rachelle holds a Master's in Disaster Risk and Resilience from Ateneo de Manila University and a Master's in Public Administration with a specialization in Health Emergency and Disaster Management from Bicol University, alongside a Bachelor's in Secondary Education with a major in Physical Science.
