Dr. Temika Edwards

Dr. Temika Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning roles in both the private and public sectors. Dr. Temika has 15 years of experience in enterprise risk management (ERM), policy development, capacity development, change management, and strategic planning. Dr. Temika has held leadership positions such as the Acting Chief Financial Officer at the U.S. Department of State and Chief Risk Officer at HUD OIG. Dr. Temika has also served as the Director of Policy, Strategy, and Risk at the DHS Office of the Inspector General. Prior to their government roles, they worked at the Transportation Security Administration in various positions, including Acting Branch Chief/Team Lead, Enterprise Risk Management. Before entering the public sector, Dr. Edwards worked as a Financial Center Manager at Wachovia Corp.

Dr. Temika Edwards holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University. Dr. Temika also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Meredith College and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing from North Carolina Central University and Saint Augustine's University. In addition, they have obtained a certification in the Chief Risk Officer Executive Program from George Mason University in 2023.
