Heather Boldt

Heather Boldt is an experienced English Language Specialist currently serving at the U.S. Department of State since March 2023, where recent work included developing and teaching a Mini-Course in Science Communication for social scientists at a distinguished overseas university. Additionally, Heather holds the position of Director for the English Language Support Program at Emory University Laney Graduate School since May 2022, and has a longstanding involvement with Georgia TESOL, having served as Past President since 2007. Previous roles at Emory University included Interim Director and Teaching Faculty for the English Language Support Program from August 2005 to May 2022, and prior to that, lecturing at Georgia State University from 1997 to 2005. Heather Boldt earned a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics & TESOL from Georgia State University between 1997 and 2000.
