Jake Jacobson

Jake Jacobson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information security and law enforcement. Currently serving as a Diplomatic Security Special Agent with the U.S. Department of State since September 2020, Jake previously held the position of Director of Information Security at F. H. Cann & Associates, Inc., where strategic cybersecurity initiatives were aligned with business goals to enhance resilience. Earlier roles include Director of Information Security at Main Street Bank, where Jake led security initiatives post-merger, and Detective and Computer Forensic Examiner at Walker County Sheriffs Office, managing complex cybercrime investigations and establishing a Digital Forensics Laboratory. Jake also has experience as a Paramedic, contributing to healthcare systems by improving processes and introducing innovative community health programs. Jake holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Sam Houston State University.
