Karin Walsh Rutledge has extensive experience in foreign affairs, primarily focused on Russia and Central/Eastern Europe, working as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State since May 2009. Prior to this role, Karin held various positions including Government Relations and International Development Professional in Washington, DC, and Director of Government Relations at the Eurasia Foundation. Additional experience includes managing government relations at the Close Up Foundation and serving as a Senior Legislative Assistant at Arent Fox Kintner Plotkin and Kahn, as well as a Legislative Correspondent for Senator Bill Bradley. Karin holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Russian Studies from Colgate University, a Master's degree in International Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and completed a summer program in Russian Language at the Pushkin Institute in Moscow.
