Kelly Kivler is an experienced professional currently serving as Division Chief in the Office of Economic Analysis at the U.S. Department of State since September 1998, where management of a team dedicated to analysis on energy and economic security is the primary focus. Prior to this role, Kivler held positions as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Analyst at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence from February 2017 to January 2019, acting as the Senior Briefer to the Secretary of State. Additionally, Kivler served as the Interagency Manager for the President’s Daily Brief at the National Intelligence Council from July 2009 to August 2012, and as Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Russia and Eurasia. Kivler holds a Master’s degree in Russian and Eurasian Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, obtained between 1996 and 1998.
