Rhys Dubin

Rhys Dubin currently serves as a Policy Advisor in the Office of the Special Envoy for Critical and Emerging Technology at the U.S. Department of State, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes a Visiting Fellow role at The Council on Strategic Risks from October 2022 to July 2023, and various research assistant positions at Nuffield College and the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford. Rhys also worked as an IRIS Fellow at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani between July 2019 and June 2020. Additionally, professional experience encompasses editorial roles at Foreign Affairs Magazine and Foreign Policy, along with reporting duties at The Daily Star from September 2016 to June 2017.
