Tess Bowler is an accomplished Section Editor and Staff Columnist at The Dartmouth, Inc. since April 2022, where significant contributions include creating the bi-weekly column "Deep Cuts," focusing on 'hidden gem' films through a blend of creative nonfiction and traditional film criticism. Prior roles at The Dartmouth include Co-Editor for the Winter 2023 special edition and Staff Writer for the Mirror section, with writings encompassing diverse topics such as campus culture and personal experiences living abroad. Previously, Tess served as Associate Editor for the Dartmouth Law Journal, President of the Omaha Students' Union, and participated in the Kent Bellows Art Mentorship Program and Nebraska Loves Public Schools as a Production Assistant. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Government, Middle Eastern Studies, and English at Dartmouth College, Tess's early education includes a high school diploma from Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart and participation in a Summer Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame.
